KARACHI: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to change its venue for the May 12th rally after the clashes that occurred between the Pakistan Peoples’ Party PPP and the PTI last Monday.
During the clash, two cars were set on fire in Gulshan-e-Iqbal and motorcycles and cars parked at the Hakeem Saeed Ground were also damaged.
The row ended when PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari invited Imran Khan via a tweet to hold the PTI rally at the Hakeem Saeed Ground.
PTI Karachi General Secretary Khurram Sher Zaman welcomed the decision taken by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and told reporters that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will hold the biggest rally in Karachi’s history next week.
The PTI rally is now going to be held at the Sunday Bazaar Ground, adjacent to Aladdin Park in Gulistan-e-Jauhar.
Party Leader Saeed Ghani also said that the PPP also decided to change its venue from Hakeem Saeed Ground to Bagh-e-Jinnah.
