ISLAMABAD: Pakistani High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit has said that there is national consensus on maintaining relations with India.
“There is a national consensus on maintaining relations with India. The matters will move forward if talks are held on Kashmir issue along with terrorism,8221; he said in an interview with the Indian media. “Incidents like Kulbhushan Yadav and Samjhota Express are the problems in bilateral relations,8221; he said. “Pakistan has always opposed terrorism and we have been condemning it. Pakistan wants better relations with India and we are working on this,8221; he said. “Both countries should try to resolve their problems through talks,8221; he said.
